Hi,

I created a NFS share of root dataset, I can mount the dataset on a Linux but the folders are empty.

mount -t nfs 10.51.10.38:/mnt/NAS02/ /mnt/nas02
ls nas02

drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 2 Jan 23 2021 ARQUIVOS_DIGITALIZADOS/
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 2 Oct 1 2021 BACKUP/
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 2 Jun 3 2020 BACKUP_REDE/

# ls nas02/ARQUIVOS_DIGITALIZADOS
total 0

There is any way to share and mount the root dataset, but see the files?

Thanks in advance.

The ownership and permissions on the server need to match on the client for NFS.

No, the root dataset is reserved, and can't be shared out. Move your existing datasets under a new dataset, and share out that encapsulating dataset.

Thank you guys!

Is one of the Office NAS I can't risk move datasets, I will do the hard and time consuming way, put my user to the AD group that have access to the datasets, mount every share on Windows and copy with robocopy to the new NAS.
