I have been trying for days now to get my media library sorted in Windows, and it won't let me add folders directly from mapped network drives because of indexing.

I came upon the mklink "fix" and have been trying that for hours, to no avail. I keep getting Access Denied in elevated cmd. Also tried activating my guest account and running a runas command in cmd to run from that user, since I read something about that. Didn't work either, same thing. Also have UAC disabled, so it should work with admin account anyways from what I've read.

I have looked over my users all the way, and tried changing accounts and owners on the drives in FreeNAS, changed shares, etc etc.

Must still be missing something. Where to look next? I'm completely new with Unix and FreeNAS, so might be I've got it set up wrong with users/volumes/permissions/shares even though I've double checked all I understand.

Help please?
