SOLVED Missing directory after update to 9.3

I recently updated my FreeNAS box to 9.3 only to find out that one of the directories in my volume is missing. I can't tell if the data is still there or what happened to it. There are snapshots setup for the entire vol along with a config file backup I did prior to the update. Any suggestions?

What utility did you use to determine it is missing? e.g. an ls in shell?

Just looked for it in the main shared folder for the vol.

Which version did you upgrade from? Is the data still showing in shell on the FreeNAS system? Any CIFS errors in /var/log/messages?

Any Datasets with the same name as the folder in the same location? That's known to cause trouble.

The data I'm trying to locate was in Vol_1/Shares/Movies and I cannot list the contents. Shell just returns "No such file or directory". I'm not sure how to read through the syslog but I can tell it's there. There are no other datasets with the name "Movies" in the same directory.

Should I just roll back a snapshot of the volume?

Well, I didn't figure out what happened to the directory but I had a backup that I was able to copy from.
