I have a FreeNAS device at work. Last Friday night during our patch window, I upgraded from 11.2-u7 to 11.3-u2. I have a couple of users that said that they wanted to test the minio/s3 functionality on FreeNAS. Well, as the old adage says, there is nothing more permanent than a temporary solution.
In any case, they were looking forward to the upgrade from 2018.04.04.05.20.54 to 2019.08.29.00.25.01_1. However, since the upgrade, I have seen the S3 process, which is set to start automatically, shut itself down. I have checked the logs, and cannot find anything about it shutting down. I see "Calling" start(s3)" in the middlewared.log, but no place where it is shutting down. Can anyone suggest a cause? Or is this worthy of a jira ticket?
