Migrate FreeNAS pool to new H/W with newly installed TrueNAS

I tried upgrading to TrueNAS from FreeNAS-9.10.2-U2 about 10 months ago. After several days I gave up - upgrading from the GUI and from building a new USB - everything failed. I ended up upgrading to a larger 32G USB. That is all moot.

I've upgraded my workstation and now have an I7-3770k CPU, 32/16G (depends on MB) DDR3-1600, and a M2 NVME slot (128G card).

Initial plan:

install TrueNAS on the 128G as the boot/system drive
move 4 SATA drives from FreeNAS pool to new system

What do I need to do on current system FreeNAS?
What do I have to do on new system TrueNAS?

In theory export them from FreeNAS, plug them into TrueNAS and import.

So I have a similar question. I have 1 server running FreeNAS 11.2. I have saved my configs from the old server. I have a new server running TrueNAS 12. I plan on exporting my pools from the old server. uploading my configs on the new server and then importing my pools to the new server. will this have any effects on the jails that I have installed?

If they are iocage jails then you should be ok, otherwise you need to do a migration or rebuild
