Hello,
New to FreeNAS and I've read the manual and am following the recommendations (well...with the exception of non-ECC memory but I understand the risks)
My new server is functioning fine and am now in the process of moving files from an old server to FreeNAS. I noticed that my memory has gone from 15 GB free to less than 3 GB available and it looks like it may fall further - is this expected behavior? What would happen if the available memory fell too low (is that possible?)
Here are my specs:
Intel Core I5 at 3.20 GHz
16 GB Non-ECC Ram
4 3TB Hard Drives running ZFS file system
Thanks
