Hello,

I am upgrading my Freenas 11.0 Freenas box from 2GB drives to 3GB drives. The box has six drives. Swapping the first five drives went well, but when I swap the last drive, the 'Member Disk' dropdown is empty. I've tried various tricks from other posts, but the member disk drop down is not populated.

The process I follow is:
1) Take the target drive offline via the GUI
2) Shutdown the box
3) Install the new drive
4) Restart the box
5) Login to the 'OLD" UI
6) Navigate to the Volumes Menu
7) Select the new drive (listed as offline) and change to online
8) Select the 'Replace' icon
9) The popup appears, but the 'Member Disk' dropdown is empty.

I have seen this issue referenced in earlier threads and have tried a variety of recommendations to resolve the issue, but I have not had any success.

Is there a known walk work around to the issue?

The zpool status -v is appended.

Thanks,
Steve

I will get back to you on this. The method you used is not what I would have done. But I will be away from my desk for the next hour.
