OK, anyone using these type of adapter card's?
I am asking because I cannot get any in my country and i have to wait 2-3 weeks for import. Is it worth it?

DELL PCI-E X2 M.2 SSD ADAPTER CARD - 5T20H

An know that they are M2 SSD not NVMe.
I want to throw in 2 Samsung SSD's for L2ARC to my Fiber Channel Shelv's, so 500 MB/sec is fine with me, i am more interested in IOPS from those SSD's.

OK, I managed to free up the 16x slot on the second raiser.
I ordered 1 x ASUS Hyper M.2 x 16 Expansion Card PCI-Express Adapter from e-bay, and see what happenes.
I found no info on the net if my G8 wil do bifurcation or not, so i will just try it out, i dont have time for reaserch in the next 2 weeks.

OK, jost dropped this project because of HP XXiotic BIOS, and Firmware.
Sold the DL380p G8 and bought a DELL R720 8 bay server + 1 X 12 LFF MD1200 and + 1 X 24 SFF MD1220
1 x LSI 9207-8i for the R720 Drives, and took out the H310 mini from the server. ( it cannot be flashe'd to IT mode, because the port in the server is dell's proletary connection, if you try to flash it, you will brick the card, so i did not even try )
1 x LSI 9207-8E for the 2 shelf's

It is working like a charm
LFF drives are 12 x 3TB SAS Seagate Constelation ES 2 and 8 x Seagate 4TB Desktop Drives in the R720
SFF Drives are SSD 720 GB ( china, teclast, 8 pcs )

LFF drives in raid 10 - Data storage and backup
SFF drives in raid 10 - VM Datastore

Connection is by 2 x 8GBS FC QLOGIC to a 48 por EMC 5100 SW.
Production Server's are 3 x DL360e with QLOGIC HBA

I had only 1 problem, freenas 11.1U7 did not like UEFI install, had to go with BIOS boot ( 2 x 90 GB SSD Corsair Force GT )

I still have 3 8X PCI-EX free for M2 NVME Cache, but it will be done in a few moth's.

I can confirm that on the SAS drive's MULTIPATH is working fine, for SSD and SATA no, since they are not dualport.

I also want to thank all on the forum, i built this setup reading a lot of post's, great info, tank's again.

On the China SSD's i got 32.000 IOPS at 32k, test was done in IOMETER, 4 VM's at the same time, 20gb file.
