Added an LSI SAS3041E-HP card to an existing HPxw4300 computer running FreeNAS 8.04 (also tried 8.2 Beta 2). Had all the on board SATA ports used and wanted to add 4 more with the LSI card. Flashed the card with the latest LSI firmware/bios as IT. Booting from a USB drive. BSD detected the card (and the drives attached to it), assigned interrupt/port, etc. gets past the FreeNAS banner/prompt and ends up stopping with a RAM parity ERROR - fatal trap 19. Without the LSI card, system boots are successful.
Any suggestions? Could this be a driver issue (since this particular board is not listed as being FreeNAS friendly)?
