Hi everyone,
I recently managed to get a supermicro 2U server with 12 HDD bays. The only thing missing is a SAS controller.
I read that the IBM M1015 would be a great choice but I can only find those cards for 120€ or more. I also read that the LSI 9211-8i would be a good choice. After some searching, I found two cheaper cards: An LSI 9205-8i (50€) and an LSI 9211-4i (75€).
My question for you now is whether one of these cards actually is a good alternative. Thanks!
