Hi,
I am new to Freenas an have just installed v8.0.2
I have searched the forum but no answer to my question.

I have a simple question: if the auth is local there is an "easy" way to allow users to change their own password without accessing freenas trough ssh?
I'll have about 30 users and most of them doesn't have any idea of what is a shell.
Half of them are windows users and the others are apple users.

Thanks.

Authentication

I've also investigated in this topic and my solution would be to turn Freenas into a NT Primary Domain Controller.
This is not so easy with Freenas 8, because your Samba scripts needs to change user data (Password), which are stored in a special way (Database) in Freenas. I don't invest more resources in this topic for now (see my other posts in this Forum).
