On System / Alert Settings "Ports are Not ACTIVE on LAGG Interface" option is set to CRITICAL (Default), but no alert is triggered.
I have three ethernet ports grouped into a loadbalance link aggregation. For testing purposes I pulled out one patch cord, but no alert was triggered. No e-mail sent, no alert in the GUI. Is this normal?
I get other alerts in e-mail and in the GUI, so the general alert related settings should be right.
Then I tried pulling out all three cables, but still no alert. Nothing appeared on the console, or after reattaching one cable no trace of the event in the GUI.
