LDAP Authentication with Zentyal groups problem

I have successfully connected to a Zentyal v3 LDAP and can see all the correct users and groups on the FreeNAS server using 'getent'. However, the FreeNAS server does not seem to recognise the auxiliary/additional groups that a particular user belongs to.

For example, if I use the command "id userx", the response is "uid=51106(userx) gid=1901(__USERS__) groups=1901(__USERS__)", but the same command on the Zentyal server gives "uid=51106(userx) gid=1901(__USERS__) groups=1901(__USERS__),3000009(Users),50512(Domain Admins),3000000(Administrators),3000005(Denied RODC Password Replication Group),51123(Accounts),51124(Directors),51125(HR),51126(IT),51127(Technical),51128(Media),51142(library),51143(graphics),51144(Photos),51145(Videos)"

If anyone has any pointers to help I would very much appreciate it as I have searched low and high but can't find any other mentions of this issue.

Hi dlavigne, many thanks for the advice. I have created a ticket #3276 as suggested. Hopefully I have done it correctly
