Anyone else seeing INCREDIBLE bad performance since this rolled out?
I've always lost speed since I exceeded 85% storage used, I knew about this, that's fine but it's really gotten bad now. I'm looking at 5 to 12MB/s sustained speeds on a machine which could comfortably do 60MB/s (70% full) and 100+MB/s when 30% full.
More importantly, I have actually freed 200GB in the past month and I'm still looking at the slowest I've seen.
16GB, dual core HP Microserver.
Does FreeNAS 'defragement' itself by any chance? It's a 3 year old install now I think.\

Or it could be that your ethernet cable fell loose on your laptop docking bay and it reverted to wireless <blush>
