What does this mean?

88:53:95:2a:xx:xx is my Mac
90:72:40:05:xx:xx is my Airport extreme

It means your mac is delegating stuff to the airport extreme so that it can go to sleep while still having its services available. The router will wake it up if/when needed.

You can suppress these annoyances, if you wish, by setting to 0 both of the following sysctls in system->tunables:

net.link.ether.inet.log_arp_movements
net.link.ether.inet.log_arp_wrong_iface
