I just updated and directly after rebooting am now receiving these errors (below). I've never received an error like this and it happened RIGHT after rebooting. Anyone else getting this? Not sure what to do. Drives look and feel fine.

Hi! Actually, the flooding isn't my main problem. The temperature issue is what I'm concerned about. It NEVER happened until directly after this update. I have no idea what's causing it?

Is ada0 your boot device by chance - maybe a SATA DOM? This happened to me.

Sorry..holidays! I turned the server off because I wasn’t sure what to do. It absolutely is a SATA DOM. That’s why I’m so confused.

Earlier versions did not automatically turn on SMART tests for my SATA DOM boot drive. 11.1 did. I chose to turn off SMART tests for the boot drive and thus eliminate the temperature warning (which I judge not to be relevant for the SATA DOM).

Thank you--I believe that's the issue. The warnings started the same day as the update. However, I don't know how to turn it off for that particular drive. I don't have SMART long or SMART short tests scheduled for the boot drive. When I "configure" the service, all I see is a temperature threshold. No place for inclusion or exclusion of devices. Should I just "uncheck the SMART tests" it in the disk viewer? That seems pretty dangerous, but I don't have any scheduled tests for the 16gb flash boot drive.

I disabled (unchecked) the SMART test for my boot drive only from the View Disks tab to get rid of the temperature warning. The scheduled SMART tests remain enabled for all other drives.

Is ada0 your boot drive?
