Jail root passwd not working

I'm on 9.2.1.1. I'm downloading & will upgrade to 9.2.1.2 as soon as it finishes.

I've run this several times & nothing is allowing me to sudo or ssh in as root. I can't get logged in as root via SSH or SUDO from a user created from the Jail's web shell. I can SSH as a user I created, but not SUDO as the password fails. Any ideas?

Upgrade/reboot hasn't helped. :(

I was testing the passwd to make sure I was entering the right info & entered 2 mismatched passwords & it correctly complained they didn't match, so it's not that. I'm at a loss. :-\

By default, the jail will not let you ssh in as root.

What error do you get when the regular user tries to sudo? Is that user account in the wheel group? Is that user inputing the root password when running sudo?

I was getting password errors when trying "sudo su -", but it worked fine if I just did "su -". I edited sudoers to allow via password & it worked. Thanks.
