I've been trying to install plugins for some time now and unfortunately my jail never gets an IP. I've already looked through the forum and unfortunately all the common fixes were no help to me. So far I've done the following troubleshooting steps - uninstall / reinstall the plugin pbi, assign several different IPs, manually input the router IP into the default gateway and nameserver fields in the network configuration settings. So far none of these have helped. My router IP is 192.168.1.254 (it's a combo DSL modem / router from at&t). This is a physical box with the OS installed on a USB key. If anyone has anything that could help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the ifconfig of my freenas box:

Also of note, I looked at the device settings on my router, and it shows that IPs 192.168.1.142 and 192.168.1.144 are being used (those are the IPs of my Freenas Box and the Bridge0 respectively). It also shows that at one point the DHCP leased out 192.168.1.143 to a MAC that doesn't exist anymore (probably because I've deleted / recreated the jail like 15 times at this point). Can someone explain to me what Bridge0 is for anyways?

Alright, so I've resolved this issue, by creating an new interface on the NAS, assigning it a static IP, and then assigning the jail a new static IP. I'm not sure why this can't work using DHCP IPs, but apparently it cant.
