I had problems with my Plex media server where it was not starting properly. So I started with a fresh install of Freenas and imported my volume back in. The problem now is that I have a Jail folder that I am not able to delete in my CIFS share. Not only that, but when I downloaded plex again it created a new folder called jail2 this time. How do I delete that old jail folder??? I tried from windows and I don't have permissions. I tried rm -r and it just throws errors. I'm not super experienced with freebsd but I understand basics. Thanks for any help you are able to send my way.

Well, I doubt that I will be the last person to have this problem so here is the fix:

Click the Storage button on the top of your screen>
In the active volumes tab (The Default screen when you click storage) click the jail you are trying to delete. Mine was named "jails" >
At the bottom of the page click "Destroy Dataset"

That is it! You want to make sure you have the right dataset selected or you risk destroying all your data. Double check before clicking that "destroy dataset" button
