Is the disk crapping out or is it something else?

Hello,
I am new here and was hoping I could get some help figuring out what is causing issues on my FreeNAS.

Yesterday I got an email that root@freenas.local had found some Critical Alerts:
Device: /dev/ada2, 2 Currently unreadable (pending) sectors

I ran short smart test first without errors and decided to run a long test trough the night. It found two errors. I zeroed them out and tried to read the whole disk like this: dd of=/dev/null if=/dev/ada2 bs=1m. It didn't run trough because it found an error. I have now run a new short test and its an error on a new sector.

Code:
SMART Self-test log structure revision number 1
Num Test_Description	Status Remaining LifeTime(hours) LBA_of_first_error
# 1 Short offline Completed: read failure 90% 2441 28680161
# 2 Extended offline	Completed: read failure 90% 2440 28667737
# 3 Extended offline	Completed: read failure 90% 2422 28667738
# 4 Short offline Completed without error 00% 2340 -
# 5 Short offline Completed without error 00% 61 -

Errors that came when I ran: dd of=/dev/null if=/dev/ada2 bs=1m.

Failing SMART tests.
ID#1 indicates read problems.
This drive is best replaced.

Yep, it's dying. Western Digital will do advance RMA if it's within warranty, but see if it's new enough for your retailer to take it back (unlikely, but worth checking--you'd get a new disk as a replacement that way, rather than a refurb from WD).
