is possible to access freenas from windows with another user/password without restart

Fist I would like to thank to all who has helped me.
I use FreeNas 8.3,
I already configured all i need and it works fine,(once again thanks to all in this forum ).

this is just my curious, Please let me know if this is possible to access freenas from windows with another user/password without restarting windows ?

at the first I try to access from windows, I can see the share, and insert user/password previously created it woks fine
but second time I try to access from windows, does not ask for a user/password. I have to restart my windows, then it ask me for a user/password.

You can try to access it using \\yourservername and then with \\server.ip.address.here. Those 2 are all you get though. The limitation is a function of windows.

thanks sir, I've tried to use with the name server and ip address, and works good.
I think also the limitation is a function of windows.
