Is it possible to emulate the iCloud service?

this may sound stupid to everyone but-Would it be possible with two jailbroken apple products to have their icloud ip's redirected to my servers for backup? If so how could i get started? How does icloud work? it seems like there are more functions to it then just backing up.

Yeah, well, the sad bit is probably not. Right now, we're going through this phase where it's considered fashionable to farm out responsibility for these things and call it "cloud computing", but for these aspects of it all, there's really no justifiable reason to do so. Most of the people on this forum are capable of understanding the ins and outs of managing their own data.

For backup purposes, the next-best option is to set up iTunes for wireless backups. This works pretty well, better than many alternatives for other iCloud services.
