Hey,
I've been trying to install Softether VPN server on a jail and it won't run. (missing file)

Using "pkg add [link]" seems to work but every package needs a dependency and each dependency also needs more and more, so I found that using "pkg install [link]" would install its dependencies automatically, but instead I get an error mentioning the repositories.

(the command that it's giving me error is underlined)

In /etc/pkg/FreeBSD.conf the url is already
"pkg+http://pkg.FreeBSD.org/${ABI}/latest"

In /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/FreeBSD.conf the url is also
"pkg+http://pkg.FreeBSD.org/freebsd:11:amd64/latest"

help?

Can you ping an Internet address from the jail? It looks like a network connectivity error.

This looks like the most likely cause to me.

Don't forget to update your /etc/resolv.conf file with your DNS servers.

I can ping an Internet Address and have network connection. Like I said, "pkg add" works for a single package but "pkg install" won't.

This looks like the most likely cause to me.

Don't forget to update your /etc/resolv.conf file with your DNS servers.

I got 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 working fine, I was able to resolve names and ping the addresses.

I have similar strange issues on my jails. They are working but SOMETIMES pkg seems broken. It's not a network issue, at least not on my part.
