Hi,

First of all I want to tell you that I'm French so my written English is not perfect and i ask you to be understanding.

I have a Zyxel NSL-100 NAS used as log server, in order to register informations about users using the Wifi (date, time, day, @mac, visited sites...).

The OS used is FreeNAS 0.7

But I have an error at booting :

FreeBSD/i386 bootstrap loader, Revision 1.1
Unable to load a kernel!
\
can’t load ‘kernel’
Type ‘?’ for a list of commands, ‘help’ for more details
OK

So, I am going to format it and reinject config.xml file to recover the previous configuration.
I want to install FreeNAS FROM an usb key TO the hard disk.
But actually, I don't manage to access the content of the key when booting.
Do I have to burn IMG file or ISO file?

I tried burning FreeNAS-i386-LiveCD-0.7.4919.iso with Unetbootin, Rufus, RMPrepUSB, ActiveBootDiskCreator..

I tried burning FreeNAS-i386-LiveCD-0.7.4919.img with Win32DiskImager, PhysikDiskWrite..

But I have a black screen with a - where I can't type nothing.

Do I have to format the usb key in a special format?
Thanks
