Installing a package on FreeNAS 11

I'd like to install a package (parallel) on my FreeNAS 11 (Running FreeBSD v11.1 STABLE)
How can I accomplish that?

FreeNAS is an appliance. It uses FreeBSD as the base OS, but it is customized such that you can't modify it. You can create a jail and add packages to the instance of the OS that is in the jail. More details about the concept would allow for a clearer answer.
