Importing zfs pool from other os?

Hi there had previous server runniing but the os did leave me frustrated,now i want to try out freenas.
Booted from usb installed on my ssd in the server.
Latest release beta 9.3? i believe.
Now i want to import my zfs pool but it seems that it isn't found by freenas?
Anyone willing to help me?
And how long should it take to import an pool from about 20 tb?

Latest release is 9.2.1.9 as shown at the top of this website. 9.3 is in beta form and shouldn't be used for anything but testing, not on production data you care about.
