How to return to console menu from shell?

Hi,
Once one is at the shell level, how do I return to the console menu? In FN7 the "su" command would return to menu (which is strange, but OK I guess...), but in FN8 su has no effect (presumably since one is already root).

Appreciated.

exit? Ctrl+d?

Exit: no effect
Ctrl + d: it logs you out but it does not restart the menu

in the shell just type 'exit' and hit return, note if you've changed the 'shell' you may need to type 'exit' 2 or more times to return to the console menu.

Tx! found the problem, "exit" only works on ttyv1 and not on any other ttyv# (where it only logs you out).
