After upgrading to TrueNAS SCALE 22+ I found I lost most of my setup like permissions and shares and had to recreate.
My setup in the older FreeNAS/TrueNAS was that I had a SMB Share (MYMEDIA) and I could create/copy files from my network computers directly to the share. All Apps like Emby/Plex could just read from that share and update accordingly.
I know find that if I try installing something like Emby it cannot use share folder and displays error saying you cannot do so which is also in the documentation.
So, what I am trying to figure is how can I still put files on my share and have Emby or other Apps still find them?
