How to go to the jail via hostname?

Hi,

i want to reach the webinterface of my plugins/jails (unificontroller und plexmediaserver-plexpass) via hostname. In the console window of the jail i got the hostname via "hostname" which is set in /etc/hosts. But this name will not work.

Whats wrong? How can I solve it?

Install and enable avahi-app inside the jails. you can then use <jailname>.local if your desktop system supports multicast DNS.
