SOLVED how to get smart values on virtualized TrueNAS

hi folks,

I set up my configuration for freenas long time ago, when it was running on bare metal.
one day I decided to go ahead with ESXi and virtualized freenas. So I set up everything, got an HBA and passed it through and uploaded my exsisting config.

so far so good. today I wanted to check my smart values and I could not ready them out.

Is that the correct way to read them?









If that is the correct way and freenas/truenas is not able to fetch those attributes, why do I don't get an alarm for the created task?
