How Much Space For System Dataset?

How much space is recommended for the system dataset? If I keep it on the boot SSD pool, would 100GB be enough for the boot files and the system dataset? Is there any information on how large it gets or is there any quota set to limit its size?

16GB Boot is the minimum

I thought that was for the boot files only. The system dataset is usually automatically moved to the first created pool unless people move it back to the boot device. Would this 16GB minimum and 32GB recommended include the system dataset?
