How could I rename a disk partition?

I would like to rename the partition ada5p2 with uuid. Is it possible without replace and resilver?

How did you create the pool? Did you use an old version of FreeNAS? or something like Nas4Free..

This anomalie occur when I replaced a faulty disk. The new disk was from an old pool so the replace from the web interface did not work. (Cause of old pool)
I use command line with the option -f but gave the ada5p2 where I should use uuid.

Yeah, you should have replaced the disk in the WebGUI. That's singlehandedly the reason for your problem. You are going to need to remove that disk, wipe it, then add it back to your pool as a replacement for itself using the WebGUI.

Hi,

Finally, I put the device ada5p2 offline

zpool offline -t BatCave ada5p2

Wipe the device ada5p2 with the WebGUI, Replace with the WebGUI.

resilver was a success
