How can one create torrents?

I am using FreeNAS 9.2.1.7. I cannot find a way to create a torrent file of an archive on my NAS box. It seems the "transmission-create" command line utility is missing from the transmission plugin. Is there an alternative way to create torrents on the FreeNAS host?

Yes, sort of... I had been hoping for a simple way to create torrents using Transmission. But while trying to figure out the best way to do this, I found a simple command-line utility, mktorrent, which I installed using pkg (in a jail). It is simple and does the job. The Transmission command-line utilities could also be installed this way, I assume.

As a general note, I have found that having a jail for general-purpose use, like installing simple utilities and other software, is a real help in managing my FreeNAS system.
