Having a bit of a problem with my Supermicro mini-itx build
It has a BPN-SAS3-733TQ backplane. for up to 4 drives

Using a SuperChassis 721TQ-350B2 case with a Asrock Rack E3C356D2I ITX motherboard

I have it mostly running and installed TrueNAS Core on it which is running but it is not recognizing my WD hard drives.
I suspect that it has to do with the backplane setup.

I have left in PC mode and connected 2 power connectors, and 4 SATA connectors that are connected to the motherboard with
an Occulink cable , there is no SATA connector other than the Occulink

thanks

This has been resolved, it was a bios issue

You mean the connector was configured for PCIe instead of SATA or something more esoteric?
