Hi,

i've a poor performance on my main system. First I thougth it was a running scrub, but after stopping it the dd-test shows the same bad read/write performance.

I checked the smart values an found this:
1 Raw_Read_Error_Rate 0x000f 115 099 006 Pre-fail Always - 98601352

The value increased from 97368248 in a few minute.
Between this two values I've done a dd read test.

After a second dd read test, the value increased to 111613224!

Her is the complete output:

Is the drive going to be dead?

Thanks

Hi,

sorry, I didn't recognise it's a seagate hdd (pool is a mix of wd red and seagate desktop and seagate nas drives).
So I think the drive is ok, right?

RRER is a rate (which means it's not an error counter) and is more or less logarithmic so the value isn't easily human readable. In short, everything look good ;)

Even worse, the high bits encode a linear value and the low bits a logarithmic rate.
