I built my server several years ago and used WD 3TB Red drives (4 drives).
A couple failed a year or so ago. Now another one has an unreadable sector.
I was about to buy another WD 3TB Red+...but figured I would check in.
Is there a new "standard" for HDD to use in these NAS systems? I think at a price/TB WD was the best.
But, does that still hold up? Should I be changing to another manufacturer at this point? Or the (+) is still good for a home NAS?
