Hi,
Whenever I create a ZFS volume or additional ZFS dataset I get terrible performance from the web interface. The web page just sits there with the "please wait" message forever (it never end) but if I click on the close button whatever it was supposed to do is done.
Is there a known bug that could explain this ?
All the other parts of the web GUI work fine.
This system is still in its testing stages so I decided to start over in case I'd done something to my pool or the FreeNAS system. I reinstalled from scratch and wiped all the drives in the ZFS pool before rebuilding a pool.
Same result.
The only thing I've changed is to add the vmxnet3 module.
Yes, this installation of FreeNAS is running in a VM that I installed myself using the ISO.
I have a M1015 HBA in passthrough mode connected to a SuperMicro SAS Expander using 12 x 4TB WD RED drives with 2 extra SSDs acting as a ZIL and L2ARC. The VM has 32GB of RAM assigned to it.
It is the only VM running on the host for the time being.
Any ideas ?
