G'day,
I'm a ~30 year old IT chick from Australia. My day job is software development/devops contracting.
Originally I was mostly into overclocking, watercooling (including sub-ambient/sub-zero chilled cooling) and gaming but due to all the data I've accumulated over the years I now need a decent storage solution - hence my interest in FreeNAS!
I tried ZFS on Linux originally but FreeNAS seems to work better and I like the idea it's a pretty bulletproof enterprise grade piece of software. The web GUI is also useful for when I get sick of command lines.
