From RAID5 (mdadm) to FreeNas 8.0 ZFS without losing data?

At the moment I am using the server version of Ubuntu 11.10 with Webmin. I have 4x2TB disks configured with mdadm in RAID5. I want to move to FreeNas 8.0 with ZFS. Can I use these disks without losing data?

Or is the only option to built the new system with 4 new disks, configure ZFS and copy the old data (about 4TB) to the new server?

No, you need to rebuild from scratch and copy your old data.
