So I have a USB stick that I would like to use as my base FreeNAS install.
Is this recommended or are there issues with using USB?

Also I can use a SSD 60gb for logs or anything else.
If I cant use the USB I will use that SSD instead.

Lastly I want to install the following:
SABnzbd
Couch Potato
Sick Beard
Headphones

Are there any best plugins to use or a guide to get it setup?

How would I install the above with a USB stick as the OS?
Or would it install to the SSD?
Either way I don't mind, im just in the process of getting it setup and want to do it the best way possible.

Please read the manual and some of the stickies on the forum. You can install the OS, either from a CD or burn the image directly to the flash drive. How to's already exist.

Yes, using a USB stick is the recommended way of booting FreeNAS. Use either a 4Gb or 8Gb flash drive.

There's a whole forum section devoted to plugins: Plugin forum section
