Hi everyone,
I'm new to both this forum and FreeNAS, so I hope someone will be able to help me :)
I've just set up an old Lenovo M55 with a single 1TB disk (Barracuda) and FreeNAS 8.2 - everything is working great in my Mac-only environment with AFP shares activated.
Now, to be on the safe side I wish to synchronize all my data to some kind of cloud service. RAID won't do it for me, because I want to protect my data against fire and water damages as well as theft.
I am, however, having a hard time figuring out how to do this? I've heard numerous times that rsync is the only really solution to this and I need to find an online cloud service that supports this.
But I'm having trouble both understanding the practical usage of rsync (how-to and commands and such) and also not really being able to find a cloud service supporting rsync.
Any thoughts?
