Hi all,
i just bought a complete new system for freenas. I have a MSI MSI B75MA-P45 motherboard, so it's fairly recent.
I've disabled all bootdevices except the USB flash drive. Freenas boots fine from the flash drive, i get it up and running. Just perfect. But when i reboot the system from the GUI the system tries to boot from the hard drives instead of the USB (i get a message saying that this is a freenas drive and is not bootable). I know this sounds like a motherboard problem and probably is. I'm 100% sure every boot option is disabled except the USB.
If i do a shutdown and start the system it boots from the flash drive just fine ( i can use WOL to start it remotely). I can live with that but it would be nice if it rebooted normally.
I have the latest BIOS installed.
Has anyone experienced the same problem?
Thank you for helping me.
