Hello,
I just started using freeNAS at my work to allow the members of my lab to share files with each other. The past two days, I've just been configuring the thing and making sure I knew how everything worked. I haven't had the NAS turned on all the time. However, twice I've had it shutdown on its own. One time, I caught it in the act (the NAS is in another room, but has a monitor hooked up to it.) I came in the room and had enough to time to see that the software was doing something as the NAS shutdown. So I don't think this is a hardware problem; it looked like the software had initiated it for some reason.
Any ideas as to what the problem could be?
