FreeNAS on HP DL180 G6

Hello FreeNAS community,

We currently trying to run FreeNAS 11.2-BETA2 on our HP DL180 G6 using HPs p410 raid card. but we are having a problem installing the FreeNAS, when we boot from USB to install the FreeNAS we are getting "btx version is 1.02" "consoles: internal video/keyboard". If anyone can help that will be great.

Hardware RAID should never be used with FreeNAS.

You should first try to install the stable release instead of the BETA. The stable release is 11.1- u5, if I recall correctly.

So yea, the 11.2-BETA had a problem in installing, i was able to install the 11.1 version just fine.
I suppose it is a hardware compatibility problem...
