FreeNAS Domain Controller Service

I have set up the domain controller service on my freeNAS. However, I am unable to get my computer connected to the domain. After entering the admin name and pass, it still cannot be added to the domain. I have scoured the net for a guide to make sure I'm doing all this properly and/or find where I'm going wrong, but I have yet to find a decent discussion on using the freeNAS to be the domain controller and active directory.

Build version (from System -> Information)?

Any particular reason you want the FreeNAS system to be the DC?
