FreeNAS 9 Cannot see 3TB RDM

Hi,

I have made a 3TB RDM in vmware ESXI 5 and I added the RDM to the freenas machine on a separate controller.
Now when I go to Freenas and I want to make a volume of the 3TB RDM I cannot select the 3TB RDM, it's not available.

When I click to see what drives are connected to freenas freenas does show the 3TB RDM connected.

So what is going wrong here?
