Hi all,

My FreeNAS stopped working / did not boot today, from what I unterstand regarding to the attached log the USB boot volume is broken & needs to be replaced. Booting from any of the FreeNAS Versions on the stick causes a kernel panic.

I have attached the last logs.

Just want to be sure and avoid mistakes that might toast my data: If I am correct, I am going to install a new USB drive and then reimport the pools.

Do you agree or am I missing something important from the logs?

Hardware: Intel Xeon, 16GB ECC, M1015 RAID Controller (flashed to IT if i remember correctly)

Thank you!

thanks, hugovsky.

I was able to boot the inital installation on the stick, but this is still unconfigured. Where would I find the latest config file if it's still there?

hugovsky was referring to the backup of your config file that you hopefully have. If you don't have a backup it MAY be possible to pull it off the crispy stick.

I was able to do that. Reinstalled on a new stick, imported the file (was a 9.3 Version file but worked) - since a few minutes everything is up and running fine again. thank you all.
