FreeNAS 9.1-RC1-x64: Cannot enable LDAP service

Hi,
installed FreeNAS 9.1-RC1 on an HP Microserver N54l (AMD Turion). I've edited the LDAP settings in Services=>Directory Services=>LDAP, set System=>Settings=>General=>Directory Service to LDAP, but still the LDAP tree is not imported. I've tried System=>Settings=>Advanced=>Rebuild LDAP/AD cache to no avail. Output of

freenas-debug -l

says LDAP is disabled. Unfortunately I can't find where to enable LDAP. In 8.3 there was a switch for LDAP at Services=>Control Services, but that's not there. I've looked around, but didn't find a similar setting. Did it move somewhere or has the process changed?

It should be in start it in Services → Control Services → Directory Services (http://doc.freenas.org/index.php/Directory_Services#LDAP).
