FreeNAS 8.3.1 64bit and USB 3.0 HUB support

Hello,

I can not get my USB 3.0 hub working.
Are there any versions operational / supported?
please share brand /type if you got it working ....

You can use USB, but IMHO that would be just dumb because it is not the purpose of USB, it is flaky, fragile.

If you really want to go ahead and do this you'll have to enable USB3 driver by adding xhci_load=YES in the tunables section.

Correct, I got the USB 3.0 ports working as expected.
Now I need more ports using an HUB.
I can not find a supported HUB version ...

In a nutshell, while USB is fine as a boot device, it's not recommended for storage devices. All too often something get's unplugged and serious problems arise.
