Hi
I'm trying to setup a Zoneminder server using the zoneminder plugin.
After some troubles figuring out how to setup a vlan, I am now struggling with setting up ntpd as a time server for the connected cameras.
Is it even possible to let ntpd run inside a jail?
I did enable ntpd inside rc.conf but when I start the jail ntpd is not running.
If I start ntpd from inside the Jail it is running for some time, but as soon as I reboot freenas or restart the jail ntpd stops working.
At first I thought the problem is the freenas ntpd listening on all interfaces, so i searched for a way to prevent that from happening - sio far the only solution seems to be to add "interface ignore wildcard" to /etc/ix.rc.d/ix-ntpd as there is no GUI option or any other way to persistent edit ntp.conf
Has anyone a solution for that problem?
Thanks
Rob
